This topic has always been a very hot topic. This has been talked about for a couple decades but has not really been acted on up until recently. This issue is very important and really needs to be addressed.
College debt is something that really gets swept under the rug. The number of people who still have student loan debt is about 45 million people . About half of those people owe more then 20,000 dollars. this might seem much but when you add it all together it is a lot. As of July 2022 there is about 1.75 trillion dollars in student loan debt. The reason why this matters is that the people who are paying it off will spend a lot of their money on it instead of using that money to build up our economy. Our Economy relies on people buying stuff, so if a lot of people are paying off debt that means all those people are not putting all their money into our economy and helping it grow. Another reason it needs to be forgiven is so that these students are not head back and can become instinct members of our economy. If the President were to forgive the college student loan debt our economy would see lots of benefits.
At the end of the day the decision to end student loan debt is an 7/10. There are a few drawbacks like not getting the money but it would help the country in the long run. I think this would be one of the next big things America does to help its people.
The people who earn these want to make a better life for themselves, we should not let anything stand in their way.
One thing that our country really lacks is financial education. It is always something that matters. Our schools have trained us to think banks are good and we should trust the system. The schools teach us to get good grades, go to college, get a good job and buy a nice house. They teach us how to be a good consumer but not how to be a producer or how to make a lot of money. It is called the at race. People start in the race and keep going around because they can not get out. The only way to get out is to become financially free.
We as Americans do not like to wait. That has always been our problem. The main reason The Great Depression happened was because we could not wait. People wanted what they wanted and would not save to buy it. Once people found out about credit they would buy things using borrowed money. They would not save up to buy expensive things and they do not save today either. People use money that is not theirs. They end up spending too much and not being able to pay it back. This ends up putting them in debt. The average American owes about $97,000 and about $60,000 in housing debt. Eight out of ten Americans are in serious debt.
I believe that Americans should be taught at least a basic financial education class in high school. If Americans knew how to use their money wisely we would have a booming economy and our country as a whole would be increasing at an amazing rate. I do think that America would be better off if we knew how to spend our money responsibly. I would love to have a class there we could learn more about how money actually works.

America is a proud country, the people who live in America are glad they do. America may not always have everything under control, but we grow from our mistakes and that is a big reason why America is great. It is one of the only places in the world where people have the choice to do what they want. People are proud of this country because America has gone through so much hardship. For example, 9/11 our country was torn but after it happened the country united as one. America will always stand up for what’s right. Americans will stand together when the time is right and that is why America is amazing.
Politicians tend to get out of more legal trouble then most other people. If you have always wondered why this is. Well I am about to tell you. Politicians get away with crimes and there is a reason.
The crimes politicians get away with but are not limited to speeding, insider trading, bribery, influence peddling, corruption, scandals
and Ponzi Schemes. Throughout history it has been shown that politicians get away with a lot of crimes. Occasionally they get caught for example Watergate. It we take a time machine and go back to prohibition we will see a major time in American history where political officials were easily bribed. The problem is that money gets to people. I’m not saying they are bad people, I just think they need to be held accountable. Bribery is the most common crime committed. This is because it is so easy to get away with. Luckily the fbi sometimes catches on. For example, Tennessee State Representative Glen Casada, and chieff of saff Cade Cothren have been accused of bribery. Political officials are the face of every country.
America is a very powerful country and we are an example for other countries to strive to be like. We have a lot of problems but I think if we work together we can make this country better. Not so that it only benefits America but the whole world. We need people to know they will be held accountable for their actions.
Corporate Greed in America is something that I just recently understood. I have lived my life thinking that big corporations are good for America. Most people do not understand that corporations are not are friend. They do not care about us. I will be informing you on some of the serious problems that these big corporations are causing inflation and poverty in America.
People tend to never ask questions about inflation. Luckily for you I am doing the work to ask the important questions. People do not realize the hold these corporations have on our lives and the power they have over us so I asked myself a few questions.
Why is inflation going up at such a high rate?
If companies are making record breaking profits why are they paying their workers so little?
Why is inflation affecting us when prices of raw materials are not at all time high?
Well the answer to all of these questions is simple companies are very greedy. Inflation is not really high by itself. This is what these corporations want you to think. For example gas is at $3.98 across America. While the price of oil is is at $92. Oil prices have dropped and become lower then they were a year ago. While gas prices are higher then a year ago The reasoning is because gas corporations are lining their pockets with cash. They have realized Americans are willing to pay more for the gas they need. These companies are price gouging the Americans out of their money. Inflation is being artificially driven up because these companies are charging us more for our products. Instead of increasing their workers wages they are giving the money to political officials.
These corporations are giving this money to political officials for a couple reasons. They give the money to them so the officials will not raise the minimum wage. This is very crucial to the American economy. This stops the American economy from growing and helping out the lower class people working for these corporations; they would rather keep it for themselves. Today I went to Wendys which is having this fundraiser if I donate a dollar I get 5 free Jr. Frostys. I was told by my football coach Adams; that they would be able to write that off as donation money to charity. I realized that they are using my dollar to help them save money on taxes. Just as they pay off political officials for subsidies. I have realized why people say the phrase “Corporate America” the people do not own the country these corporations own America. They control the prices and how much we get payed. They do not care about our well being. We are just pawns in their game. They are using Americans to make money. When the government gave out stimulus checks immediately people went to places like Walmart and Amazon to buy stuff; putting more money into their pockets. One of the major flaws is people Like Nancy Pelosi and other government officials who take bribes to do the dirty work for these big corporations. It sickens me that people are willing to choose money over what is right. I hate that our government is so corrupt and the worst part is everyone knows they do this and they do not get in trouble.
Overall America is very corrupt and this is a major problem with America. These big corporations only care about the money and not investing it back in our economy. I have opened my eyes to the atrocities that are happening in America. We talk about how America is such a great place to live, but we do not mention how corrupt and how these big corporations control our lives.
Throughout time you can see that America has given billions of dollars away to other countries. There are several reasons the United States of America has given money to other countries. It is almost always to benefit us.
One of the main reasons America gives so much money away is because we wanna keep ourselves safe and for diplomacy. We will protect small countries if it means helping them will help our national security. Just since 2104 the United States of America has given 17.9 billion dollars to Ukraine. They have used this money to give the Ukrainians weapons, training on how to use the weapons and actual training on how to become a better military. The reason America did this though was because Russia attacked Crimea, one of the Ukrainian territories. If Russia took over Ukraine it would be a huge step towards bringing back the USSR. The United States has given money to Iraq and Iran so that their governments could use that money to fight off terrorists. Another reason the America gives money away is for diplomacy. After the United States dropped the nuclear bombs on Japan we felt very bad. Japan was left in a very rough shape. We gave 2.2 billion dollars to Japan from 1945 to 1952. We gave them 1.7 billion dollars in grants and about 504 million dollars was in loans. This helped rebuild up Japan and now they are a powerful ally.
Overall it is easy to see why america did this. America does this to help ourselves. People might think that we are just being nice but America has its own agenda. So do not think America is wasting money they are using it.
